Project Summary

Overview: HRPURPOSE’s YIELD Project is a comprehensive initiative designed to support Youth living with mental health needs and/or addictions between the ages of 12 to 29 in overcoming systematic barriers and integrating successfully into the community, workforce, and society. The project is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that addresses the unique needs of these youth, providing them with the necessary skills, tools, and experiences to thrive in their professional and personal lives.

Objectives: Advancing systematic change and accessibility for Youth living with mental health needs and/or addictions between the ages of 12 to 29 facing barriers.

Phases:

Groundwork:
Needs Analysis and Partnership Building: Establish partnerships with nonprofits and employers and conduct a needs analysis to tailor the project’s approach.

Design and Development: Develop and pilot a groundwork deliverable that addresses systematic barriers and societal integration gaps that affect marginalized youth 12 to 29 with disabilities.

Implementation:
Implement the project deliverables, providing participants with knowledge and solutions for better access to key life skills services, career training, mentorship, mental health support, and job placement assistance.

Expected Results:

Results Measurement: The project will use a robust framework of indicators to track progress and success, including partnership agreements, participant engagement and satisfaction, job placement rates, and program effectiveness.

Engagement with Partners: Our collaborative network will be engaged to inform project design and create opportunities for quality systematic change experiences. This includes forming advisory panels, developing internships and apprenticeships, and conducting inclusivity workshops.

Individualized Support: The project will implement an intake mechanism to assess each participant’s needs, developing personalized support plans that include mental health services, independent life skills development, educational support, and employment services.

Conclusion: The YIELD Project embodies HRPURPOSE’s commitment to empowering youth living with mental health needs and/or addictions between the ages of 12 to 29, bridging the gap between their potential and their opportunities. Through this initiative, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of these young individuals, equipping them for a future of success and fulfillment.

ALTERNATIVE TRAINING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES Duration - 4 to 6 Weeks

This exploratory and preparatory program simplifies the process and makes it easier to determine the client's potential to pursue long-term training and employment in a specific career path. The goal is to prevent undesirable outcomes after investing a lot of time, effort, and money.
